Dj Euphonik (born 6 December 1983) is a well-known DJ, music producer, and radio host from South Africa who specializes in playing house music. 2013 saw the song “Cool and Deadly,” which he co-wrote with South African DJ DJ Fresh and Nyanda, reach the top spot on the 5FM Top 40. He began mixing in 2003, and in 2004 he achieved popularity after teaming up with DJ Kent to create an album. His Saturday program, Ultimix Weekend Edition, highlighted brand-new popular songs and mixes, while his second program was a Roger Goode show revival.
He was allowed to continue with his Sunday show, My House, after his Saturday show was canceled in 2014. Top tunes by DJs and musicians from around the world are played during the later show. He left 5FM in 2016 to present eUNITE on 947, where he now works.
Euphonik has traveled extensively throughout Africa for his infinite music show, stopping in big cities including Dubai, Spain, the United Kingdom, Miami, New York, and Ibiza. As a result of his career, he has had the opportunity to perform on stages alongside notable performers like Hardwell, Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto, Skrillex, Deadmau5, Nicky Romero, Richie Hawtin, and Louie Vega.
In 2009, DJ Euphonik and DJ Fresh formed a band named F.Eu, and since then, they’ve created four additional albums. The two prominent figures perform at concerts like Ultra Fest Miami and The South African Miami Invasion all over the world together.
Traditionally, DJ-101, a one-day workshop, is held at Euphonik every year. He takes use of the opportunity to freely impart his musical expertise and DJing know-how to his admirers with the aim of inspiring them to pursue careers as musicians or DJs.
